THE ECHOES PROJECT

Our long-term photography project ECHOES, is aimed at giving a voice to the surviors of domestic abuse. Through three individuals projects – UNSEEN ECHOES, ECHOES OF HOPE, and UNECHOED STORIES—we are partnering with various organisations across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire to raise awareness for domestic abuse and to breakdown the stereotype of domestic violence.

UNSEEN ECHOES

UNSEEN ECHOES delves into the often-hidden impact of domestic abuse through powerful imagery and personal narratives. Our goal is to shed light on the pervasive nature of this issue and challenge the stigma and stereotypical view of domestic abuse.

ECHOES OF HOPE

ECHOES OF HOPE focuses on showcasing stories of hope and resilience after experiencing domestic abuse. By sharing uplifting images and narratives, we aim to inspire others and demonstrate that healing and empowerment are possible.

UNECHOED STORIES

UNECHOED STORIES provides a platform for survivors to share their stories, giving them a voice and raising awareness about the realities of domestic abuse.

Through exhibitions and books produced as part of each project, we aim to create impactful resources that can be used by organisations supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse. These resources will serve to raise awareness, promote understanding, and support fundraising efforts.

Our project is a call to action—an invitation for individuals to join us in breaking the silence surrounding domestic abuse. By engaging with our exhibitions and publications, supporters contribute to a broader conversation about ending domestic violence and creating a safer, more empathetic society.
