Our long-term photography project HIDDEN, is aimed at giving a voice to individuals facing homelessness. Through four individuals projects – THE HIDDEN CAUSE, THE HIDDEN IMPACT, HIDDEN HOPE, and HIDDEN STORIES—we are partnering with various organisations across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire to raise awareness for homeless individuals and to breakdown the stereotype of homelessness.
HIDDEN CAUSE uncovers the hidden truths behind homelessness through evocative imagery and personal accounts. Our goal is to reveal the complex and often unseen factors that lead individuals into homelessness, challenging stereotypes and raising awareness about this pressing social issue.
HIDDEN IMPACT delves into the often-hidden realities of homelessness through powerful imagery and personal narratives. Our goal is to shine a light on the pervasive nature of homelessness and challenge stereotypes and stigmas associated with this pressing social issue.
HIDDEN HOPE shines a light on stories of resilience and hope within the context of homelessness. Through uplifting images and narratives, we aim to inspire and show that despite challenges, individuals experiencing homelessness can find strength and rebuild their lives.
HIDDEN STORIES offers a platform for individuals affected by homelessness to share their stories, amplifying their voices and increasing awareness about the often-overlooked challenges and realities of living without stable housing.
Through exhibitions and books produced as part of each project, we aim to create impactful resources that can be used by organisations supporting individuals affected by homelessness. These resources will serve to raise awareness, promote understanding, and support fundraising efforts for those experiencing housing instability.
Our project is a call to action—an invitation for individuals to join us in breaking the silence surrounding homelessness. By engaging with our exhibitions and publications, supporters contribute to a broader conversation about addressing homelessness and creating a more inclusive and supportive society for all.
