For many of you you may be happy with the photographs that you are taking SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera). Some of you may want to explore how you can take your photographs further.
Your wedding isn’t a day posing in front of a camera. Your wedding should be all about you making that commitment to share your life with the one that you love. It’s a day full of little moments that you will want to remember in years to come.
My style to your wedding photography is relaxed (although that’s what you will see) so you want find me telling you or your guests where to stand or which way to look. I won’t be keeping your guests from the bar while I get the lighting right. I’m not looking to spend hours capturing images that will win me awards. I will be constantly scanning the room though for what is going to happen next. It’s not a ‘fly on the wall’, it’s just me as I fulfill my role as a storyteller documenting your wedding day.
It is your wedding so I will aim to capture all of the moments of your wedding that you would like captured.
For some that may mean me being up at the crack of dawn so I can get those images of the bride or groom as they prepare for the day. For others their story may begin when the bride arrives for the ceremony.
Is your wedding going to a day with everyone around you or will it be a quiet day with close family and friends?
It is you day so whatever you decide is right for you I will work along with what you have planned for your day, capturing your wedding story as is happens.
As a qualified and award winning photographer I could ‘command’ a higher rate for my wedding photography. It is my choice however to make my services affordable to everyone. I don’t do this by skimping on the service, in fact this is where I strive to go above and beyond. I am able to provide these lower prices by working smarter and not insisting that you have items in packages that you don’t want.
My packages include my time at your wedding, the editing of your images and an online gallery for you to view and enjoy your images as you remember the events of your wedding day. For the bride and groom you will also be given access to download your images so that you can print and share them however you like. You are also able to share the gallery with your friends and family so they can also enjoy looking back through the moments of your wedding.
For those looking for more than downloads you are also able to order prints directly from your gallery or ask me to look into providing an album for you.
Chris was a fantastic photographer and he really listened to what we wanted. He had great ideas and got such natural shots that we didn't even notice him in the background. It meant we got to enjoy every minute of the day. He was professional, organised and even managed to get a video of the ceremony for us. We couldn't rate Chris any higher. Thank you so much!

From the initial conversation, right through to taking the photos and purchasing them, Chris provides a very professional and talented service. I knew the photos would be amazing, but I was blown away at how amazing they are and definitely worth every penny (very reasonable prices!), and will be memories we can cherish and look at for the rest of our lives. Thank you Chris. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a photograph!

With the kids off school, and you hiding behind the sofa when the words home schooling are mentioned, what can you do to keep your children entertained that doesn’t include sticking them in front of the TV, under the stairs like Harry Potter or to the wall with Duct Tape?
Some photographs about what lockdown looks like for you. For many it will mean home schooling, for others it could be the solitude of the empty streets and others it could be the restrictions on group sports. This current lockdown has left a lot of us feeling a bit overwhelmed by what is going on. We feel shut up and crave that social interaction.
With the latest lockdown in the UK it seems that a lot of photographers, along with other people, are asking if they can still do photography during the current lockdown in the UK.
With many parts of the country telling me that it’s snowing where they are (a result of my last challenge about What To Photograph When It’s Raining) I thought I would add a challenge that will keep you going all year.
There is no simple answer here as it really is up to you if you feed your wedding photographer or not. Some wedding photographers do request it if they are working over a certain number of hours or some wedding venues may suggest that you feed your wedding photographer. The answer though is you don’t have to feed them.
